The woman I Thought Was An Angel: chapter 5

The woman I Thought Was An Angel: chapter 5

The hospital room was quiet. Just the sound of the AC and Chinedu’s slow breathing.

It had been 5 nights since Ada last slept well.

The confusion was eating her.
Part of her wanted to be the “good wife” — pray, wait, take care of her sick husband.
The other part... that old part... was screaming. Restless. Angry. Empty.

She paced the small room they gave them. A private room, thank God. No nurses walking in every 5 minutes.

She tried to pray. “God, take this feeling away.”
She tried to read her Bible. The words blurred.
She tried to sleep. Her body wouldn’t let her.

This is not me anymore, she told herself. I’m married. I have a husband. A good man.

But the memories wouldn’t stop. The attention. The money. The way men used to chase her.

She broke down crying at 1am. Quiet crying, into her wrapper.
“I don’t want to go back,” she whispered. “I don’t want to shame my husband.”

She made a decision that night.
I will not cheat. I will not call any of them. Never. Not on my golden husband.

But the frustration was real. She felt trapped in her own skin. She has no option than to masturbate that night.
But no, real man taste different.

The next night was worse.

Chinedu was awake. Weak, but awake. Staring at the ceiling.

Ada couldn’t take it anymore. The silence. The distance. The guilt.

She got up, locked the door, and sat on the edge of his bed.

“Chinedu,” she whispered.

He turned to her, eyes tired. “Hm?”

She was shaking. Torn between shame and need. Between the wife she wanted to be and the woman she used to be.

“I... I miss us,” she said, voice breaking. “I miss being close to you. I’ve been trying to be strong but it’s hard.”

Chinedu didn’t answer. He just looked at her. Hurt. Confused. Sick.

Ada reached for his hand. “Please. Just hold me. Talk to me. I don’t want to lose you. I don’t want to lose us.”

Tears were running down her face now.

She held her husband manhood, she messaged it small and it got little erection, she whispered " baby please allow me, I will do it by myself"
She was putting on gown, she pull her husband snicker down, she raised her dress and climb her husband,
After 5 minutes of slow riding, she climax and hug her husband tight.

For a moment, neither of them moved. The past was between them. The lies. The secrets. The 34 numbers.

But so was the vow.

Chinedu slowly squeezed her hand. It wasn’t much. He was still weak. But it was something.

Ada broke. She laid her head on his chest and cried.
“I’m sorry,” she sobbed. “I’m so sorry for everything.”

That night nothing else happened.
But something shifted.

She didn’t sneak out. She didn’t call anyone.
She stayed. Right there. Holding her husband’s hand till morning.
